The week of: November 6th, 2017

  • Attendace: Why is it important to be at school?
    • School only gets harder when  you stay home too much. Sometimes it’s tempting to stay home because you’ve got too much work or you don’t  understand what’s going on in class. But missing a day only makes it that much harder tomorrow.
    • Strive for 5!
      • 5 or less missed days are in the “green zone”
      • 6-9 day missed are in the “yellow zone”.
    • Monthly challenge – Best attendance gets Stinger Steve!
      • Mrs. Bennett’s class earned Stinger Steve for October’s attendance.
    • Weekly challenge – Students at school every day, with 2 or less tardys,  get a Smiley Face “Brag Sticker”
      • Last week’s attendance: 92.17%
  • PBiS Focus:
    • Cafe
      • safe bodies in line
      • know your lunch number
      • only take what you want
      • Don’t forget to use “please” and “thank you”
      • stay seated; feet on the floor and seat on the seat, facing forward keeping your body and food in your space.
      • raise your hand when ready to dump
      • dump trays carefully, making sure food goes into the trash can.
      • stay trays neatly, making sure they fit like a puzzle
  • Recess:
    • No food or drink taken out of cafe
    • Snack wrappers and garbage in garbage cans – Let’s show pride in our school!
    • Don’t forget your coats!

  • 17th – Picture in the courtyard w/friend
